CLA offered “Religious Pluralism Then and Now” with the leadership of our Classics Project Director, Arthur F. and Marian W. Stocker Professor of Classics John F. Miller. Twenty-two enthusiastic teachers attended from various school divisions in and outside of Virginia, to be a part of this important dialogue – What can we learn from religious persecutions, martyrdom and syncretism in history? How can we promote the coexistence of different religious systems and communities? We send our sincere thanks to our speakers: UVA Professors Anthony Corbeill, Karl Shuve, Jessica Andruss, and Director of Professional Learning (ACPS) Jennifer Sublette. Also, we’d like to thank those of you teachers who spent a precious Saturday with us…we appreciate and admire your dedication. Thank you!
