Natasha Heny prepares pre-service English teachers to navigate complex secondary classrooms through student-centered, equity-driven, and innovative practice, examining writing instruction and adolescent literacy through a critical-literacy lens. Her scholarship investigates how emerging technologies can support differentiated instruction and educational equity. As a University of Virginia AI Guide, she works with faculty and students on the ethical and pedagogical implications of AI.
