CLA Spanish Program increases teachers’ comfort in teaching difficult topics

CLA is grateful to the 31 Spanish teachers who attended our April 11 program, Crisis y cultura en el siglo XXI, many of whom traveled long distances for it.

French teachers attend program based on two UVA exhibitions

On September 27, thirty-one secondary school French teachers from across the Commonwealth worked with a series of speakers in association with two exhibitions: “The Strange Story Furcy Madeleine” at the Shannon Library and “Haiti’s Time” at the Fralin Museum of Art.
